NOTICE : READ BEFORE UPDATING
To preserve your waypoints in the server:

1. BEFORE UPDATING, find your waypoints folder. Should look something like:

 - ...Minecraft\Instances\Marshy's Medieval 3.1.6\journeymap\data\mp\<server-name>\waypoints

2. Make a backup of either the <server-name> or waypoints folder on your desktop

3. Update to next modpack version

4. Copy the backed up folder to the same location in the new modpack instance.
