Mani+ Clientside Enhancements

Mani+ is a lightweight, highly customizable client-side modpack designed to enhance vanilla Minecraft without taking away from what makes vanilla Minecraft great.

Built originally for playing on a Minecraft Realm with friends, Mani+ was made with one thing in mind: make Minecraft run better, look better, and feel better without requiring anyone else to install the modpack.

Every mod included is client-side, meaning you can use Mani+ on singleplayer, multiplayer servers, and Realms without needing server-side installations.

Vanilla, But Better

Mani+ focuses on improving the areas where Minecraft's default client falls short, particularly performance, visual quality, interface, and overall quality of life.

At its core are performance mods such as Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, MoreCulling, and Concurrent Chunk Management Engine, which work together to significantly improve rendering, memory usage, chunk management, and overall performance.

On top of that, mods like Iris Shaders, Sodium Extra, Continuity, LambDynamicLights, EMF, ETF, and Subtle Effects add visual improvements while keeping the experience close to vanilla.

You'll also find plenty of smaller quality-of-life additions, including Just Enough Items, AppleSkin, Enchantment Descriptions, Controlling, Mouse Tweaks, Ok Zoomer, Gamma Utils, Xaero's World Map, Chat Animations, and more.

 Mani+ isnt meant to completely reinvent Minecraft, it simply gives vanilla more of the features and polish it deserves.

Make It Your Own

Customization is a major part of Mani+.

Most of the included mods offer their own configuration options, and Mod Menu makes finding and adjusting them easy. Whether you're trying to squeeze the most performance out of an older PC, fine-tune visual effects, or simply disable something you don't personally like, Mani+ gives you the flexibility to do so.

The same goes for the included resource packs and shaders: you don't have to use everything. Keep the features you like, disable the ones you don't, and build the exact vanilla+ experience you want.

Optional Resource Packs

Mani+ also comes preloaded with a collection of resource packs that freshen up Minecraft's visuals without straying too far from vanilla.

These include improvements to crops, crosshairs, armor, enchanted books, containers and HUD elements, fire, and entity animations, alongside the popular Fresh Animations ecosystem.

Fresh Animations Setup ⚠️

If you're using Fresh Animations: Extensions, make sure Fresh Animations: Extensions is placed ABOVE Fresh Animations in your resource pack list.

This ordering is required for the extensions to work correctly.

All included resource packs are optional and can be enabled, disabled, or rearranged to your liking.

Shaders Included

Mani+ comes preloaded with two shader options:

Mellow is the recommended choice for lower-end PCs, providing a more atmospheric look while keeping performance relatively light.

Complementary Shaders offers a more substantial visual upgrade while still being surprisingly performance-friendly. With a bit of tweaking to its shader settings (Video Settings->Iris->Shader Settings), it can also work well on less powerful hardware.

As with everything else in Mani+, shaders are completely optional. You can run the pack with no shaders at all and still get all of its performance and quality-of-life improvements.
