Mahou's Menagerie

Mahou's Menagerie is a modpack aiming to add better exploration, progression and magic.

Featuring many custom origins (race and classes) you can handcraft your own playstyle. While playing certain races, you may be locked to eating only meat or plants, so to bolster your options, mods such as Better Animals Plus and Farmer's Delight, give players many more sources and varieties of foods. If you ever grow tired of farming and spelunking, you could also dive into the arcane with Botania, Bewitchment and Spectrum, each giving players access to stronger tools and weapons, while also giving alternate paths to resources you might have trouble finding otherwise (I'm looking at you netherite).

To make your adventure just a little bit spicier, take a dive into the fully revamped underworld thanks to BetterNether, or soar through a familiar glowstone portal with Paradise Lost! Speaking of new areas, I think our little yellow buzzy friends might have more space in their hive for you now? I wonder if The Bumblezone is friendly to newcomers?

At the end of the day, this modpack is intended for my friends and I to try all together, and there may be issues or exploits that I am unaware of. I am also new to making modpacks and troubleshooting compatibility issues, so if there is anything seriously wrong, you may have to talk to the original mod authors.
