In brief:

  • Heart Patches got a rework
  • Tier 1 rocket can alternatively take logistics mechanisms
  • Fuel is now craftable (so we can use said rockets - the Moon is in grasp)
  • Complete rework of the progression (removed the Bosses menu and Automation and combined them into a unified Tier system so you can easily see what's next to do)
  • Added a star system to bosses so you can see how powerful bosses are
  • Added magic to bosses so bosses can cast Iron's Spells and Spellbooks spells in addition to their normal attacks (better crowd control - no back seating during the fights anymore)
  • Added dynamic HP scaling to bosses (second person brings hp up by 50%, third is 33%, fourth is 20%, etc) so it's not just Arcane Odyssey going to 100% per person, but it's not how it was before
  • Made all guns twice as powerful so they're not just dwarfed by magic and made their bullets a bit harder to craft (we will get guns after the moon i swear)
  • Made the Mastery of Magic skills 5% instead of 40% spell power to prevent broken builds (i.e. doing 400 damage with one spell)
  • Reworked several recipes
  • Made Rotation Engines spawn in loot chests and removed the "normal" recipes for normal create items
  • Made the Forge tier 4 locked behind getting to the end
  • Made armor more powerful so upgrading from Deeper Darker chestplate -> Immemorial isn't a downgrade anymore
  • Made Teir Armor more powerful so it feels more endgame
  • Removed simply swords swords from loot and made them drop by bosses. Added what sword is from what boss in the Quest Menu
  • Added skill points to each of the Luminous Bosses as well as made a beast book available
  • Locked the Nether behind a Nether Access - which requires getting 4 shards and a mastery (explained in the quest book)
  • Gave a free Bank Terminal in the quest book so you can exchange spurs for cogs earlier
  • Modified the logistics mechanism, fluid mechanism, and a few other mechanism recipes
  • Modified the rocket tier recipes
  • Explained iron's spells and spellbooks progression
  • Explains the forge better with photos
  • Explained vents better
  • Improved boss AI
  • Rebalanced boss damage and health based on more playtesting
  • Solidified the story elements of the game to make it feel more intertwined
