A light weight 1.8 Magic based modpack featuring lots of loot, creepers, and eldritch horrors. Only one recipe was changed.
You find yourself in a field. Bunnies hop to and fro. The landscape is vast, clean and peaceful. Suspiciously, you approach an obelisk in your path. A cloaked figure you can barely see greets you with pain and suffering. You run away and fall into a ravine. Crystals grow from the walls and you come to a realization. Magic is real and it is wrathful. Maybe if you study the arts, you can turn its wrath upon these Edritch horrors and their creepy friends.
The star of this pack is Thaumcraft 5. You will need to visit the outerlands to begin Project E. The mods were selected for their stability and features. As you explore you will find that dungeons dot the landscape in the air and underground. Expect a lot of great loot. Ride an airship with Archimedes or ride a rabbit by right clicking one with a stick. The world opens up to you once again with the chunk loading upgrades in 1.8 Minecraft. Amplified might be a fun way to play this.
A note, waila works best if you set your video settings to fancy, but you might wish to turn it off. Please press 0 on your numpad. Also check for conflicting keys. Optifine might be a good idea, but I leave that up to you to test. Enjoy!
