Machines and Madness (AKA: YAMPA) is a Modpack originally created for the Helios Private Modded Server Network, this sort of spiraled out of control into where so much time and effort was dedicated into it we felt the need to share it with the General Public.

This Pack has many custom features and changes such as the need for a lot of machines (even basic starter machines) requiring to be built as a Multi-Block Structure. Optional Questing was also added when we began developing this pack due to a high number of requests from our Players to do so, although these Quests are not necessary!

Following on from what I just rambled on about above, it's a Kitchen Sink pack, but Kitchen-Sink packs can be overwhelming where you don't know where to start and you end up leaving many mods out during your play-through, and this isn't fair to those Mods! So we've made it so that you may have to start with little bits of other Tech Mods to get started on others, just so you don't leave the others untouched and unloved, y'know?

We also feature many exploration sides of the pack! As to not leave people feeling like they MUST like Tech/Magic, because not everyone does! We added dimensions and dungeons and better loot options to make exploration a completely playable... play style. Whether you want to traverse The Aether and defeat Valkyries or take on the Ghouls of The Betweenlands... or become rich beyond belief and make a dungeon your... ~~B Word~~, it's all possible for the adventurers in you!
