Louis & Chris

Louis & Chris is a large Minecraft 1.7.10 modpack focused on technology, automation, exploration, magic and building. It combines many of the classic mods from the Minecraft 1.7.10 era into one pack, offering a much larger and more complex progression than vanilla Minecraft.

Technology & Automation

Build large automated factories and processing systems using mods such as IndustrialCraft 2, BuildCraft, Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, MineFactory Reloaded, Ender IO and ProjectRed.

Players can automate resource production, transport items and fluids, generate large amounts of power and gradually develop from simple machines into massive industrial systems.

Applied Energistics 2 adds advanced digital storage and automation, allowing large bases and factories to manage thousands of items efficiently.

Power Generation

The pack provides many different ways to generate and manage energy.

Mods such as Big Reactors, IndustrialCraft 2, Mekanism Generators, Compact Solars and Thermal Expansion allow players to construct everything from smaller generators to large-scale power plants capable of supplying huge automated bases.

Magic

Technology is only one possible progression path.

Thaumcraft, Blood Magic, Witchery, Botania and Thaumic Exploration introduce several different magic systems with their own progression, equipment, resources and mechanics.

Players can specialize in technology, magic or combine both.

Exploration & New Worlds

The pack greatly expands exploration beyond the vanilla Overworld.

Galacticraft allows players to develop space technology and travel beyond Earth, while The Twilight Forest provides another dimension filled with new environments, structures, enemies and progression.

Biomes O' Plenty also makes the normal Minecraft world significantly more varied by adding many additional biomes.

Building & Customization

Mods including Carpenter's Blocks, Chisel, BiblioCraft and BiblioWoods provide many additional decorative and construction options.

Players can create detailed houses, industrial complexes, laboratories, magical areas or entire cities with considerably more freedom than in vanilla Minecraft.

Additional Features

The pack also includes numerous quality-of-life and utility mods such as JourneyMap, Not Enough Items, Inventory Tweaks, WAILA and Iron Chests, making exploration, crafting, inventory management and large-scale projects easier to manage.
