Lords of Soot is a semi-serious tycoon/ political simulator, Modded Minecraft-based roleplaying game based on the Central-Western seaboard of the fictional continent of Transafricasia (located between Europe and North Africa and the Americas.)
The server utilizes a custom, industry oriented modpack and has everything the player needs to create their own nation within a custom-designed and climatically realistic environment. The modpack itself is designed to help provide the user with an all-round immersive experience, to recreate the many aspects of real life: Trains, cars, lorry's, and for those of you who choose to participate in the Lords of Soot server, politics, as well as much more.
Primarily built for survival, but happily usable in creative, the modpack is an all-rounder: there's something in it for anybody. Installing the modpack as somebody interested in anything from running a railway to engineering a nuclear powerplant, or even just peacefully ploughing a farm using any number of modded features, you can do virtually anything!
It should be warned that this modpack is moderately heavy. It is recommended you have at least 8GB of RAM on your PC to give you a smooth enough experience. Technical support
- When installing the pack, make sure to go into your 'resource pack' option in the main menu to activate the resource pack by clicking them so they are on the left side. Trying to join the server without them will display an error message, to which you will need to activate your pack
- Packs of size over half a Gigabyte will not be permitted, since this will time out the download for players with lesser internet connections.
- If you persistently hit an issue, join the discord (link above) in order to seek further help.
