Lords Demons (Tensura) — Dedicated Server Pack

This is the official Dedicated Server Pack for the current release of Lords Demons (Tensura).

It is designed for players and server owners who want to host the modpack on a dedicated NeoForge server instead of using Minecraft's LAN multiplayer.

⚙️ Server Environment

• Minecraft: 1.21.1

• Mod Loader: NeoForge

• Recommended Java: Java 21

• Recommended RAM: 8–12 GB depending on player count, exploration activity and world size

Because Lords Demons is a large RPG modpack with extensive world generation, dimensions, structures, entities and progression systems, additional memory may be required for larger multiplayer communities.

📦 Server Pack Changes

The dedicated-server version has been prepared separately from the standard client installation.

Client-only optimization, rendering and interface components that are unnecessary or incompatible with dedicated servers have been excluded where required.

The server retains the gameplay mods, Tensura addons, world-generation systems, structures, dimensions, progression systems and required libraries necessary to maintain compatibility with the current client release.

🌍 New Worlds Recommended

A new world is strongly recommended when upgrading from older Lords Demons releases.

This version contains significant changes to the Tensura ecosystem, registries, races, progression systems, structures and world-generation content.

Using an older world may result in missing structures, outdated registry information or incompatibilities with newly introduced content.

Always create a backup before attempting to migrate an existing world.

⚠️ Client Connection Notice

Some clients may occasionally experience an initialization issue during their first game launch before connecting to a dedicated server.

This appears to occur when certain client-side mod systems initialize before all required configurations have finished loading.

If Minecraft crashes during startup or a client unexpectedly fails to connect, completely close the game and launch the modpack again before changing the server configuration.

Not every player is affected, and testing has shown that affected clients can initialize normally after restarting the game.

If other players can connect successfully while one specific client cannot, server administrators should first have that player restart their client before modifying the server installation or world.

🖥️ Installation

Extract the contents of the server pack into a new server directory.

Install/use the included or required NeoForge 1.21.1 server environment and launch the server using the provided startup configuration.

Accept the Minecraft EULA before the first full startup.

Server owners should review server.properties before making the server publicly accessible.

Do not install additional client-only optimization or rendering mods into the dedicated server unless they explicitly support server environments.

🔄 Client / Server Compatibility

Players should use the matching Lords Demons client release when connecting to the server.

Using different versions of Tensura, its addons, registry-related mods or required libraries between the client and server may cause registry synchronization errors and prevent players from joining.

For the best experience, keep the server pack and client modpack on the same Lords Demons release.

💾 Backups

Regular world backups are strongly recommended.

Always create a complete backup before:

• Updating the server pack

• Updating Tensura or one of its addons

• Removing progression or world-generation mods

• Migrating an older world

• Changing major server configurations
