The world has been shrouded in darkness. An evil entity has cursed the world slowly corrupting everything it touches. There are entities that were sleeping for centuries, but now have awoken. A thick blanket of fog covers everything. The creatures that dwell in the fog tend to manifest themselves are a person’s deepest fears. The creatures that are in the fog are almost always hostile, killing anything around them. Often in a gruesome and brutal way.
The void is a dark and deep realm. Once forever sealed away and now set free the entity will haunt the player throughout their run. Everything wants to kill the player. You can choose to survive alone or work together to banish the evil from whist it came. Many abandoned buildings take cover and strip of its resources, though sometimes they may not be so safe as it was for the previous inhabitants. Explore the fog during the day and hide at night. There are always creatures around and always posing a threat. The land is dangerous with more dangers around each corner. Build your base and strengthen it as quickly as possible before the darkness become stronger and corrupts the rest of the world.
Fight back with other survivors follow the quest book and take the fight back to the void and cast it back into the darkness where it came from. Time is limited and the entity knows it.

The mudpack adds a few extra mods to help combat the darkness that is threatening to spread across the world and corrupt everything.
With the addition of Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism, Botania, Distant Horizons, K-Turrets, Project Red, ProjectE, Thermal Explansion. While removing a few mods that were disliked and added clunkiness to the existing mudpack.
