Important Information

Windows on ARM

If you're playing this modpack on Windows on ARM, you can find a pre-compiled version of Java 17 for Windows aarch64 here. (This version is compiled specifically for this platform architecture, and will give you a better experience than the default Java.) Additionally, you will need to disable the "Controllable" mod, as it causes a crash. Note that at the moment, playing on this architecture isn't recommended due to poor performance on anything but the very lowest graphics settings; but these instructions will help it to at least run.

TaCZ and Controller

If you're playing on controller, you cannot aim or fire guns. This appears to be due to a problem in the way TaCZ was written. The "fix" is to add Java to Steam as a non-Steam game, and create a Steam Input profile that turns the triggers to mouse buttons.

JEI Missing

Windows Defender has been removing JEI. You'll have to restore or re-download if this happens to you.

JEI, EMI, and Missing Recipes

One of our playtesters discovered in 1.2.1 that installing EMI fixes the issue where JEI is missing recipes. We then discovered that adding EMI to 1.3.0 causes the game to crash. A fix is being studied.

Intel Arc Graphics

Currently, using shaders makes the game nearly unplayable. This can be fixed with the mod to switch the renderer from OpenGL to Vulkan, however, that mod is only on Fabric and is not compatible with Sinytra Connector. The minute the dev team becomes aware of a Vulkan mod that works on Forge, a fix will be implemented.
