This modpack was made for players who want a good experience playing the legends of slugterra mod.
It includes many quality of life features that go hand in hand with slugterra.
Some improve certain aspects like finding, taming and picking up slugs.
There are also performance mods to help with the more demanding generation of the 99 caverns.
The main mods that objectively do not add any downsides are enabled by default however there are others that are disabled as some players could find them annoying to play with.
Main mods:
Attack Through Grass:
Allows taming, picking up (and hitting) slugs through any non-collidable blocks.
Better invisiblity:
Better invisibility: Makes negashade more useful by hiding armour pieces when invisible allowing for bandoliers to not reveal your location.
Domestication inovation:
Domestication innovation: Adds lanterns that can be crafted, when placed all pets (slugs) that are stuck in unloaded chunks will teleport back to that lantern after a few seconds. This also adds new enchantment however be warned that they get deleted when a slug with a collar is being put in a capsule.
estecat's music discs:
Adds new music discs that can be crafted with some of the mod's items, one of which is a remake of the slugterra theme.
Jade:
Shows useful information about what you're looking at.
Just Enough Items:
Shows the crafting recipes of all items, makes it easy to know how to make any modded items.
Target Dummy:
Adds a target that shows you the damage dealt, very useful for testing slugs.
Patchouli:
Adds the Shane journal, a guide to almost everything about the mod, if you have a question, this is where you will find your answer.
Sophisticated Backpacks:
Adds a backpack that will greatly help you with inventory space as there are a lot of items in this mod to carry around.
Optional mods:
Create:
Most players enjoy this mod, however it can take away from the focus of the mod and can make certain parts too easy.
Parcool:
Can be disabled in game when enabled in the mod pack, adds many keybinds for movement moves and can be overwhelming to learn.
Physics Mod:
Makes things look nicer especially with slugs that break blocks, tho can be quite resource intensive.
Sound Physics Remasterd:
This one is up to taste, and can work well in some areas of the world.
Waystones (& Teleports Pets):
There is a surface portal within the mod already and movement slugs to get around so depends on the experience you're looking for.
Xaero's minimap:
Positives: makes it easy to find (rare) slugs, Negatives: makes it easy to find (rare) slugs. Depends on how easy you want to make your slug hunting experience be.
Resource packs:
Shrimp's immersive interface:
Makes GUI look better but up to taste once again.
