## See the whole world
Distant Horizons draws simplified terrain far past your normal render distance, so mountains, oceans and builds stay visible on the horizon. On a server running Distant Horizons, you'll see terrain you haven't explored yet.

## One map for everyone
Xaero's Minimap and World Map, with Multiplayer+ syncing, combine everyone's explored areas into one shared world map. Anywhere a teammate has been shows up on your map too.

## Runs smoothly
Sodium, Lithium and FerriteCore cut lag and memory use, so the long view distance stays playable on modest hardware. Iris is included, so shader packs work out of the box.

## Small quality-of-life upgrades
- Recipe lookup in your inventory (JEI)
- Hunger and saturation shown on your HUD (AppleSkin)
- Shulker box contents and horse stats on hover
- Faster inventory sorting and crafting (Mouse Tweaks, Crafting Tweaks)
- Zoom, searchable keybinds, and an in-game mod menu
- Sounds that echo and muffle with the space around you (Sound Physics Remastered)

## How it differs from vanilla
No new blocks, items, mobs or dimensions. Survival plays exactly like vanilla, with one exception: on servers with Trade Cycling, you can reroll a villager's trades before you've traded with them. Everything else changes how the game looks, sounds and runs, not how it plays.
