Lapida: The Mechanics of Realism

This modpack serves as the technical foundation for the Lapida project. It is designed to strip away the "arcade" feel of Minecraft, replacing it with systems that demand patience, bravery, and strategic cooperation.

### Core Modlist & Functions

• KubeJS (The World Logic)

  • Custom Economy: Replaces missing vanilla loot by adding realistic, labor-heavy recipes for essential items like Saddles, Horse Armor, and Name Tags.

  • Anti-Combat Log: Enforces the "World of Consequence." If a player disconnects while in combat with another player, their character is automatically eliminated. There is no escaping the fallout of your actions.

• Alex’s Mobs (Ecological Realism & Danger)

  • Replaces standard fantasy mobs with realistic wildlife that defines the danger of each biome.

  • Geography dictates safety: you will face Crocodiles in the swamps, Tigers in the bamboo jungles, and Bison across the meadows. Every ecosystem requires a different survival strategy.

• Small Ships (The Lifeblood of Trade)

  • With vast oceans separating unique resources, these ships are the only way to build a trans-continental empire.

  • Navigation becomes a core skill as you ferry rare goods across the 30,000-block map.

• Realistic Block Physics & Slowed Mining

  • Breaks the "instant-mining" meta. Every block is heavy and takes effort to move or break.

  • This system ensures that building a fortification is a massive achievement, while also making manual griefing nearly impossible.

• Siege Weapons

  • Because blocks are so difficult to break by hand, traditional warfare is replaced by siege tactics.

  • To conquer territory or breach a rival city, players must construct and deploy heavy artillery.
