Knights & Wizards is an extensive RPG-themed modpack that builds an immersive world of medieval fantasy, ancient magic, and challenging exploration. At the heart of the experience are two central pillars: Iron's Spells and Spellbooks and Ice and Fire. Players can choose their path, dedicating themselves to mastering the vast spellcraft of the arcane arts or training as a warrior to confront and tame magnificent dragons and other mythical creatures found throughout the world.

Character progression in this pack is designed to be meaningful but passive, ensuring your main focus remains on adventuring. As you spend time fighting and engaging with the world, subtle but critical improvements to your base capabilities are granted, allowing long-term players to feel inherently stronger and more resilient than newcomers. These deep-seated improvements to your character's foundation—including enhanced stamina and health—are earned simply by playing, meaning you don't have to manage dozens of separate skill trees. Instead, your true power and identity are defined by the gear you acquire: the unique spells you unlock, the legendary weapons you forge, the powerful armor you equip, and the majestic mounts you ride.

The known world is rich with things to discover. To fully realize the medieval theme, the Overworld has been enhanced with numerous quality-of-life and aesthetic additions. Exploration across the seas is made grander with custom, large sailing vessels from Aleki's Nifty Ships. Combat gains variety and depth with Fabled Weaponry, offering diverse choices for both knights and adventurers. You'll also encounter numerous new dungeon structures and enhanced natural landscapes from a variety of exploration mods.

However, true challenges await in the dimensions beyond. The Nether has been transformed into a dangerous, dungeon-infested realm, now filled with new structures, challenging bosses, and valuable loot. When you are strong enough to venture to the final dimension, you will discover that The End has been completely overhauled by the Nullscape mod, presenting a truly alien and awe-inspiring landscape that demands mastery of flight and careful navigation. Prepare your armor and spellbooks for a sprawling adventure that will test your abilities across every corner of your world.
