Kineticraft is a large Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge modpack focused on technology, automation, exploration, building, magic and multiplayer.

The pack combines many large content mods into one progression-focused experience while still giving players freedom to choose how they want to play.

Create is one of the core parts of Kineticraft, but the modpack also includes advanced technology, energy systems, storage networks, magic, exploration, improved combat, structures and many quality-of-life features.

Public Beta

Kineticraft is currently in Public Beta.

The modpack is fully playable, but some parts are still being developed, tested and balanced.

The quest system is currently incomplete and contains only a part of the planned progression. Future updates will add many more quest chapters, progression improvements, balancing changes, optimizations and fixes.

Create is intended to remain useful throughout the modpack instead of becoming obsolete as soon as advanced electrical technology is unlocked.

Build factories, automate resources, create power networks, construct digital storage systems and gradually progress toward advanced reactors and endgame technology.

Exploration

Kineticraft keeps the world relatively close to vanilla Minecraft while adding many new structures and places to discover.

Explore improved villages, dungeons, mineshafts, strongholds, towers, ruins and other dangerous locations filled with loot.

The goal is to make exploration much richer without completely replacing Minecraft's original world generation.

Magic

Technology is not your only option.

Kineticraft also includes several magic systems, including:

You can focus on technology, magic, exploration or combine everything together.

Combat

Hostile mobs have improved behavior and AI.

Some enemies can react to nearby activity, remember positions, coordinate with other mobs and use improved combat behavior.

The goal is to make combat more interesting without simply giving every enemy huge amounts of health and damage.

Quests

Kineticraft uses FTB Quests to guide players through the modpack.

The quest book is designed to guide rather than force. You are not required to complete every mod in one strict order.

The quest system is still under active development.

Visuals

Kineticraft includes many improvements to animations, particles, weather, sounds, footsteps, camera movement and the overall atmosphere of Minecraft.

Shaders are optional, but recommended if your PC can handle them.

Performance

Kineticraft is a large modpack, so optimization is an important part of its development.

The pack includes many optimization mods focused on rendering, memory usage, chunk handling, entity rendering and general game performance.

Performance may vary depending on your hardware, render distance, shaders and world generation.

Multiplayer

Kineticraft is designed for both singleplayer and multiplayer.

Play with friends, build factories together, create shared infrastructure, explore dangerous structures and progress through the modpack as a team.

Freedom of Progression

There is no single correct way to play Kineticraft.

Build a Create factory.
Become a mage.
Explore dungeons.
Create a massive storage network.
Automate resource production.
Build reactors.
Construct trains and infrastructure.

Or combine everything together.
