What's Kinetic Civilisation?
Kinetic Civilisation is a minecraft server and modpack that focuses on Create and Create: Aeronautics.
Player Base
The server is beginner and advanced player friendly. We target a semi-rp chill player base, but it's still open to everyone, even y'all pvpers but no big cannons for you ;)
Features
The server contains:
- Create: build complex machinery and farms
- Create: Aeronautics: explore the world with vehicles you make block by block
- Fair Minimap: never forget where you were before and place waypoints to save the locations of your creations
- Distant Horizons: see farther than you ever thought of
- Ragdolls: make your enemies or yourself become a physics based ragdoll which is very funny
- Cosmetics: custom made cosmetics mod that let you be what you want to be
- Emotes: custom made emotes mod that permit you to dance, wave, and a lot more
- QoL: a lot of quality of life mods that you'll never want to stop using
- And a lot more you'll find by playing :)
Performance
(DH stands for Distant Horizons in this section)
What you should expect:
Modern Hardware: 200-400fps
Older Hardware: 60-120fps
Settings:
- 8 chunks render distance
- 6 simulation distance
- DH enabled
- DH distant generation: disable
- DH quality: low
- DH cpu load: low impact
- Shaders not enabled
Performance Test
The modpack was tested with the settings described above and 2000x2000 blocks of rendered LOD (with DH enabled) on:
- OS: Arch Linux
- KERNEL: 7.1.4-arch1-1
- CPU: Intel Core i5-14600KF
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- GPU DRIVER: NVIDIA 610.43.03
- RAM: 32 GB
Results: 300 fps on average with 400 fps maximum and 250 lows.

We want to clarify that all of the paid content is optional and that all of the money goes to the server. We are non-profit and the server is almost paid entirely by Exorium for the time being.
About Us
We're a small team of three:
- DuckOfHell: Animator, Playtester
- Skal: Lead Programmer, Animator, Modeler, Modpacker, Modder, Playtester
- Exorium: Lead Modpacker, Backend programmer, Animator, Modder, Playtester
Exorium wanted to make a minecraft server for a long time, so he talked to Skal and DuckOfHell who are two close friends of him. They liked the idea and joined him through the process of making this server and modpack.
We wanted to make the best experience. We put a lot of effort and attention into this project and we primarily made something we ourselves would like to play. That's why we hope you'll like the server!
