In this project, I aim to improve vanilla Minecraft without changing the core game. To achieve this, I will focus on these 3 main areas:
-
Visuals
-
Quality of Life
-
Optimization
Visuals
When I refer to the visual section, I don't mean just adding shaders that require a high-end PC to look good. On the contrary, my goal is for Minecraft to look incredible without losing its original essence and without relying on shaders, thanks to a careful selection of textures. Although I leave the option open to enable shaders, once you try it out, you'll see they aren't necessary at all.
Quality of Life
When talking about convenience, I refer to features that the base game should include natively. This includes small QoL enhancements: knowing villager trades in advance, improving chest management, adding a minimalist map that only tracks your location and exploration, or creating teleportation points in villages to speed up long travels. Some might feel this alters the essence of Minecraft, but it doesn't: these improvements are designed to elevate the experience for players who dedicate months or years to a single world. Over time, I will continue to add more features.
Optimization
The goal of this section is clear: to ensure Minecraft looks amazing and runs smoothly on any system, even with just 8 GB of RAM. That is why the primary focus is on optimization and smart texture usage—adding textures and mods to improve gameplay and performance, which also boosts shader frame rates. If you want to use shaders, you must first disable the ReShaded texture pack.
Important details about textures
To achieve better performance and stability, it is important to respect the order of the modpack's base textures and not change their positions.
There are other additional texture packs that you can customize according to your preferences. For example, the Punchy textures come with 3 variants, each featuring different first-person animations. You can use whichever one you like best.
The same applies to the weapons and armor textures: there are 2 variants for each, so you can choose the one you prefer or, if you wish, remove both.
⚠️ Important: The choice of these additional texture packs is completely up to you, as long as you do not modify or move the modpack's base textures.
Remember that you can customize each mod's configuration according to your preferences, tailoring the gameplay experience to your liking.
