Ever felt like the current modpack ecosystem is too centred around "customizing" the mods, making them more grindy in the process? Same here!
KdPack - Churro (henceforth referred to as "Churro") is an amalgamation of mods thrown at a wall. Very little customization has been performed - just the mods in their original state! Any customization that has been done is to prevent recipe conflicts, crashes and to make the mods less of a headache.
What can you do within Churro? Well, I'm glad you asked, theoretical person that doesn't really exist!
- Want to make a system that automatically crafts every item in the game? Completely possible, with a bit of ingenuity!
- Want to program your own computers INGAME? We got you covered! (With two separate mods, no less!)
- Want to create mob drops (and various other things) out of clay, gold, and lapis? Deep Mob Learning has your back!
- What about base security? Create a simple hidden entrance with Blockworks' Framed Door, and defend it with Open Modular Turrets!
Anything is possible, as long as you have the creativity and knowledge to back it up!
So - why should you play Churro? Simple! It's got most of the greats (Thaumcraft, Botania, Chisel, IndustrialCraft, EnderIO, Forestry, Buildcraft, Blood Magic, Abyssalcraft and Mekanism) as well as some lesser-known mods, like TheBetweenlands, BlockWorks, Apotheosis, and PneumaticCraft Repressurized. And again - almost nothing has been changed. Over two-hundred mods are available!
And why the name? The idea is that the series' pack naming conventions will follow Andriod's conventions - starting with C and working our way through the alphabet using desserts. Once we pass Z? Not sure - let's find out!
