About KaNCraft – Kings and Nomads

Enter into a world of your own imagination on our Minecraft server, Kings and Nomads. As it states within the title, you can either be your own King, raising a faction or even joining an existing one rising through the ranks to rule how you please, or become a Nomad and play by yourself or in small groups just getting by surviving against the numerous dangers that lurk within the world we have created. Throughout the world, you may come across dangers such as the fearsome dragon that roams the skies, or maybe a one eyed giant who will eat you as a snack without a second thought? But amongst the many dangers there is also peaceful locations you may stumble across, such as one of the many cultures within the world which are completely controlled by the AI, and grow when players build and interact with them. Type of Server

Kings and Nomads is a heavily modified version of Minecraft which can easily be obtained as a modpack via Twitch, and also runs on SpongeForge similar to Bukkit/Spigot but for Modded Forge. The Server is a survival, faction pvp/pve light to medium roleplay based server. We encourage players to create their own factions and band together, or be it alone in small groups and while building their bases or homes to leave lore of details of their own character, race or faction which can be shared on our discord. Thanks to the many mods which we utilize on the server, there is many possibilities as-well as the plugins we also use alongside the mods allowing great freedom and creativity to be had. Key Features – Mods and Plugins

Ice and Fire – With the Ice and Fire mod, be prepared to fight off Giants, Dragons, even the White Walkers and their Wights which may appear during winter time. With this mod it spawns in some structures within the world, and also allows the taming and use of some different mobs, and yes the dragons are also tameable! However please read our rules regarding the use of dragons.

Millenaire – The Millenaire mod allows the spawning of towns and some lone building structures with AI that live within the structures. The towns will actually grow over time, depending if a player is within 450 blocks(subject to change) radius and how much trade is done within the towns. The opportunity to also do quests given from the settlers is also there along with increasing your reputation with each town. There is a variant of cultures too, such as Normans, Byzantines, Indian and Asian cultures aswell as some others!

Serene Seasons – With this mod within the mudpack and server, this helps simulate proper seasons throughout the world. Each season has 3 sub seasons, for example Winter has Early Winter, Mid Winter and Late Winter which all last 7 days long, so 21 in total for a season in Minecraft days. This means players must bare in mind of what food to gather over time and what to grow at certain seasonal times.

Mo’s Mobs – Mo’s mobs has also been implemented into the server and mudpack, this allows us to remove some of the vanilla mobs such as the vanilla horses and replace with the mods horses aswell as its multiple other variations of mobs. This also allows players to tame a number of different mobs ranging from dogs, cats, rabbits to elephants.

Tinkers Construct – With the use of Tinkers Construct, this gives the players the ability to go beyond what vanilla offers in terms of tools and weapons, allowing the players to create all kinds of tools and weapons from their very own forges. Aswell as the base mod we also have a number of submods included for Tinkers also which can be found in our full modlist.

Dynamic Trees – Dynamic trees are also being used on the server, this like Seasons just allows for better immersion into the world, giving the tree’s a more tree like look without them not looking out of place, and also simulates them falling over. On top of these features if you’re active in an area long enough tree’s and their forests will grow back over time if not totally wiped out and cut down.

MC Clans – We use the SpongeForge Plugin of MC Clans on the server, similar to Factions Clans allows the player to claim their land, and set homes but also ties in with our Economy plugin which means player now have to pay for claims, can set taxes etc… instead of having to rely on power stats. Clans also gives the ability instead of having wars and peaces, for clans to just raid their enemies giving a better depth of features when doing so.

Spawn and Shop – When spawning in be greeted to our custom spawn, along with our server shop which consists of most basic items aswell as some extra’s which can be bought over time depending on your own balance.

Economy – Like stated above, since we have our own shop at spawn we also have an Economy plugin which allows the players to all have their own balances which if in a clan can be deposited, but if not saved up to buy certain items which can be found in the server shop, and keep in mind that the shop can have items which can go on special offer as a onetime buy on a set day! These items can be rare, but expensive!
