The Versioning System Update 

This update brings a slightly different version of Minecraft's new versioning to the JustSimplyCreate modpack (and all my other future modpacks)

How does it work? Well, I’m glad you asked. My versioning system follows the same principle as Minecraft’s. Let’s start with the most obvious part: the date in the version, for example: 26/01/02.V1.0

The date (26/01/02) represents the intended release build. If you remove the slashes, it also acts as the build number (260102) for when it was released. This makes it easier for me to understand when a version is released, and yes the date is written backwards as the year comes first because it changes the least.

The actual version number is the part after the V, written as 1.x.x. This represents the release version of the modpack and is separate from the date.

If you ever see a version with three numbers, such as V1.2.3, it follows this structure:

1 → Release

2 → Update / content drop

3 → Bugfix / patch
