This JurassicCraft pack is pretty chill. It's light on mods and just brings the formula to the newer versions. But it does improve on the formula in one big way: top down building. This allows one to make fences a lot easier, similar to Jurassic World Evolution. 

There aren't many but the big game changing mods are:

Fossils and Archaeology- The dinosaurs duh

Jurassic Reborn- More dinosaurs duh

RTS Building: Build From Above- A top down building system

MineColonies- If you wanted to create a living park or needed a way to obtain resources

Mekanism- If you want to scratch that factory itch to help you gain the resources needed to build your park
