What is this modpack? It's a Hexxit-Inspired pack aimed at nomadic gameplay filled with adventure and exploration!
Hey I'm Jack. This is my Wanderer's Modpack: a pack with tons of dungeons, castles, interesting structures, villages above and below ground, and also full of abandoned cities (depending on your world generation choices). Some notable mod synergies and wandering-friendly mechanics include:
+ Backpacks of a couple varieties. Can't just go hauling around a standard inventory can we?
+ Waystones that allow you to travel between their locations instantaneously.
+ Xaero's World and Mini map, for convenience.
+ Antique Atlas for Roleplay-friendly Map options.
+ Tinkers Construct for precise tool creation and investment opportunities for those willing to stay put for a while.
+ Gravestones for convenience, as well as deathmarkers with Xaero's Map mods.
+ Sleeping bags for on-the-go sleeping courtesy of the Comforts Mod. There's also hammocks if you're into that sort of thing...
+ Campfires now offer regen, need to be lit instead of starting lit, and will go out after 90 seconds or so, unless they spawned naturally.
+ Alex's Mobs for more hunting, observing, and accidental stumbling onto animals.
+ Grappling Hooks, from wood tier all the way to Diamond. Just search "hook" in the JEI UI for more info. They have durability as well.
+ Rare chances for loot bags to be dropped by enemies in addition to their normal drops. These can be opened in the hotbar for a random item from the Random Loot Mod.
+ Paragliders....yes in BoTW style! They have their own stamina meter and function differently to elytra. Useful in a pinch...or a push off a cliff.
+ Every world starts off spawning you in a village. Normal Villages also have villager guards in addition to normal villagers and golems. Also all of the villagers have names!
+ Villages have a chance to spawn their own Waystone, which you'll be able to teleport to from other waystones.
+ Villages have a chance to spawn a bounty notice board, that has various mob-hunting related challenges with time limits and loot.
So get out there and explore!
Recommended World Generation (Updated for v1.3):
Set the difficulty, cheats, etc to whatever you'd prefer!

Other Noteworthy Information:
On Tinkers Construct:
Currently in this version of Tinkers Construct, mending moss does not exist/function like it does in earlier versions.
It basically doesn't exist. As you can't enchant tinkers items without commands, this means you cant use normal enchantments like mending to make up for it. With the More Enchantments mod, there's also another enchantment called Reparation, which acts like mending moss, but slower. This seems to be able to be applied to most normal items... Just not Tinkers items.
For reference, the slime boots are also not able to be enchanted outside of creative mode. Just FYI. Also in this version of MC theres no aluminum brass for casting, its used with gold, sand, or clay casts instead.
On Xaero's Map Mods:
Despite keeping the mod up to date at the time of release, the game will tell you that it may be out of date. Its best to ignore that message right now, as all the normal functioning of viewing, waypoint editing, etc seem to function normal anyway.
On Loading into an existing world and creating a world:
Currently you will be warned on either of these things that the world generation is unstable/experimental, and that you should proceed with caution. This is true! Do make a backup of your save when prompted! No sense in risking losing your save.
On the Tree Felling mod:
I tried out other mods for taking out the bottom block and destroying the tree, but ended up settling on this one. With an axe in hand, shift (crouch) and break a block on the tree to cause all the ones above to fall downward with sand physics. Important Note: These falling blocks will NOT drop a block without being broken if they land on blocks that break falling sand. These blocks behave differently, and can in some situations destroy/overwrite blocks they land on, such as hoppers. It also works on any block as long as its a log of wood. Modded trees seem to work without fail, and you dont need to start at the base.
On using Optifine:
I highly suggest using the latest version of optifine for 1.16.5 with this mod pack. To do so, go to their site and download the JAR file, and simply place it in the mods folder alongside the other mods in the instance folder for your modpack installation. There should be a button to open this folder in game while the game is running. As you should expect, restart the game once you've added the optifine JAR file, and you should have more video settings options! I highly recommend using the best performance options unless you know your PC can handle more, such as shaders, etc.
For a list of the mods refer to the "Relations" Tab!
