This pack contains a mix of automation and progression mods, and slightly random exploration mods. This makes it so as you advance through the game you are continuously upgrading your base with mods like Actually Additions, Applied Energistics 2, and Immersive Engineering. But you always have the option to take a break from that with stuff like Open Blocks, Portal Gun, Chance Cubes, and Random Things. You also have decoration options such as Chisel, Carpenter's Blocks, and Forestry. When you decide you want to just explore, we have Biomes O' Plenty, Roguelike Dungeons, and instead of the overused minimap, we made it more interactive with Antique Atlases, because we wanted to preserve some of the exploration feel that Minecraft already has with maps.
