Ironwood Horizons is a cozy exploration and industrial progression modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1, built around Create and the idea that the journey should matter just as much as the destination.

Instead of rushing toward teleporters, permanent flight, or one giant base containing everything, Ironwood Horizons encourages you to spread out across the world. Discover new regions, establish outposts, build farms and mines, create industrial centers, and eventually connect everything together through railways, ships, roads, and other physical logistics.

The goal is to create a world that feels like it actually grew alongside you.

🚂 Logistics Matter

Ironwood Horizons is designed around physical transportation.

There are intentionally no easy teleportation networks or permanent creative-style flight systems intended to make distance meaningless.

If valuable resources are far away, the answer isn't supposed to be pressing a teleport button.

The answer might be:

• Build a mining outpost.
• Establish a processing facility.
• Construct a railway.
• Create a port.
• Send freight back to your main settlement.
• Eventually turn that little outpost into an entire town.
