IRLCraft is presented to you by the Sheep Enrichment Center. No longer will peaceful mobs just let you smack them around.

Better Questing Task system implemented with over 200 tasks to give players a general guide for the pack.

Zombies are practically invincible early-game. Bringing a (mostly) balanced challenge back to Minecraft!

Crops won't grow out of season, but you can spend those winter weeks fishing, dungeon delving, or even bird watching.

Craft yourself a cart and upgrade your saddles for cheap portable storage and a great way to spend time with friends!

(You know you wanna ride around in a horse-drawn ~~carriage~~ cart while you take pictures of the scenery in fullscreen)

Inspired by the difficulty of RLCraft, but like not THAT hard.

Dimensions

Explore your new surroundings, catch butterflies, and photograph birds in nature (or tame and breed them!)

There aren't many dimensions in this modpack.

Instead, I aimed to enhance the vanilla dimensions and the 2 new dimensions introduced in Blue Skies.

NetherEx breathes new life into the nether with new mobs and biomes to explore.

The overworld's natural generation has been enhanced with gorgeous rivers and streams from Streams as well as new biomes from Biomes O' Plenty and Defiled Lands.

Ender Prospecting adds a whole new way to mine your heart out!

Universal Bestiary gives players a way to track information about all of the new mobs they encounter.

Magic

Firebats and ghouls and occultists, oh my!

Keep yourself busy researching the uncertainties of Thaumcraft with expansions from Thaumic Wonders and Crimson Revelations.

Master the arcane arts through the Wizardry mod.

Interact with your world in new ways using the items from the Reliquary mod.

Get spooky and delve into witchcraft with Bewitchment.

Get in touch with your inner druid with Roots.

Fishing

Experience fishing like never before! You know you want to!

Try your hand at fishing with the new mechanics for reeling provided by Fishing Made Better.

Total integration for the new mechanics with Pam's Harvestcraft, Advanced Fishing, and Aquaculture with over 4,000 custom lines of configs.

Fish can be scaled for items - making fishing a realistic way to spend time!

Note that fishing is now limited to certain areas. You won't be catching fish in every little puddle anymore.

Fish come in 3 tiers: Common, Uncommon, and Rare. See configs\fishingmadebetter\fishdata .txt files for documentation on where to find each fish, which baits are most effective, what weather/time conditions must be met for fish to be able to be caught, and their scaling rewards.

Baits* include:

Common: Beetroot, Red Mushroom, Iron Nugget

Uncommon: Raw Fish, Carrot, Gold Nugget

Rare: Fermented Spider Eye, Golden Apple, Diamond

*note baits are not necessary to catch fish successfully, they just increase the odds that the fish appropriate to the bait will be what you catch.

Is it getting hot in here or is it... oh, no wait, yeah, it's actually really hot.

Experience the flow of time as you adventure with Serene Seasons and Heat and Climate.

Feel the burn and grab yourself a bucket of water for the new thirst and temperature mechanics of SimpleDifficulty.

Get picked up and YEETED by a tornado from Weather, Storms & Tornadoes.

Just because you can't taste it, doesn't mean your character can't! Diminishing food returns to encourage a diet of variety with Spice of Life.

Food isn't going to be something you can just hoard to keep yourself going now, either. Food Funk will now give your foods a perish timer. This can be delayed with fridges and freezers.

Difficulty

Good thing we have custom death messages because, well, you're probably gonna be seeing a lot of them.

Between Mob Blocker giving you a 5-hour safezone (chunk) to start with (Complete your tasks!) and Mob Spawner Control limiting spawners to 10 mobs before they're destroyed, you might think it's gonna be too easy. You might think wrong.

Spawners limited to 10 spawned because once the dungeon has been cleared there's no real need to continue spawning mobs.

Sorry EXP/drop farmers!

There aren't many hostile-mob adding mods to be found here, but included are Dungeon Mobs Reborn, and the hassle that is Grue.

However, there are several mods that work to increase the difficulty of the entities in-game. Progressive Bosses ensures you have a challenge every boss fight. Gravestones - Extended adds catacombs to fight through, if you can handle the buffs provided by Rough Mobs 2, AtomicStryker's Infernal Mobs, and Consecration. And let's not forget, the added challenge of surviving the monthly Bloodmoon. At least with Survivalist's 'scrapping' enchantments, you can get SOME of your armor's materials back if (when) it's eventually destroyed. Hopefully with the help of Scaling Health you can manage to take at least one hit before you die a pitiful death.

Hardcore Darkness (configured to not be total darkness all the time, of course) gives real threat to the Grue. Be sure to take advantage of Realistic Torches and always carry at least one light source on you at all times.

Early game is spiced up with Passive Aggression. No longer will the sheep stand idly by.

No Tree Punching will probably throw most Minecraft veterans off - after all, we all know how you start Minecraft, right? In addition, changes to gameplay also come from the Better Survival Mod, which adds a new system of weapons (with their own unique enchantments) to give a more strategic combatant the upper hand.

Rough Tweaks ensures you're gonna have a hard time now that passive health regen is disabled, which really sucks because Let Me Sleep is gonna make you hungry every time you sleep.

It's like Christmas!

New dungeons to loot with Doomlike Dungeons. Rare loot added by Artifacts and BountifulBaubles.

Not a fan of dungeon delving? Treasure2! adds locked chests to world generation, but good luck finding the keys...

Custom loot table added for Tumbleweed, nothing crazy but they're worthwhile to hunt down!

Custom bounties and rewards added to Bountiful's bounty system. By default bounties are unique to each board (not globally shared) and boards cannot be broken or crafted.

Known Issues:

IgniteHUD causes Overlay for fishing meter from Fishing Made Better to not be visible. You can still follow the audio cues (the line's audio pitch will be higher the closer to 'balanced' your line is). Mod author is aware and working on a fix. For now, if you're struggling to fish, try disabling IgniteHUD's .jar file in your mod folder (or removing it if you're unhappy with the overlay).

To easily disable the mod (or any mod) open your Twitch launcher, navigate to the profile you want to modify, in the top right select the gear button and open Profile Options. Uncheck the box labeled 'locked'. You're good to go!

Heat and Climate trees aren't compatible with Better Foliage and Dynamic Trees. The stupid compatibility mod is broken and abandoned :(

Snow blocks and partial-blocks do not play well with leaves and rocks on the ground. Mild visual annoyance. Sorry.

If you're seeing black leaves in trees try setting your graphics to fancy instead of fast.

RecurrentComplex - structure generation in all dimensions enabled, turned down rarity of all spawns by half
Reptile Mod - enabled croc taming
Reliquary - disabled handguns.
RoughMobs - Creepers now explode if they catch fire. Ghasts no longer immune to projectiles. Magma cubes do not drop lava.
Serene Seasons - configure which crops can be grown (mystical agri), sub seasons 10 days long (making each season 30 days) to be compat w/ h&c
