This modpack was built to provide players some more challenge. It mostly improves the difficulty of most, if not all, standard Minecraft mobs. This includes increasing the range from which monsters can see you, have mobs get more health and armor, and adding some special abilities to certain mobs (example: spiders webbing you). Not only are the vanilla mobs buffed, there are also a bunch of new mobs, most of them even stronger. Think you can prevent being killed by sleeping every night? Then you'll only reach the bloodmoon sooner, which occurs about every 8 full moons, and makes the mobs spawn even more often, and might mean a very painful dead for anyone caught unprepared. And even when you can kill all mobs, you might still lose your stuff when a group of raiders raids your storage.

All this increasing of the difficulty is made up for by some other mods. The other main aspect of the modpack is Minecolonies. This means you can build a colony with workers. Building a colony is one of the best ways to protect yourself against the many monsters. There are also many more weapons and a special type of magic, all to help you defeat the monsters. If that still is not enough for you, you can always marry one of the NPCs in a village. After all, love always wins, even from monsters.

In addition to that, there are also some additional mods, just to make the playing experience a little more fun. This includes an atlas so you know where you are, a chunkloader, ships, machines, and furniture like chairs and tables.
