I'm trying to shoot for a pack that would be a bit of a revival of all the fun mod packs and playthroughs every YouTuber was doing in between 2011-2015 like CrazyCraft, Hexxit, and Mindcrack.
I've added the Mods for world gen as follows:
Oh the Biomes We've Gone (generates new biomes around the world giving the world a bit more spice)
The Aether sends you sky high through the portal in conjuction with these addons
1. Aether Delight (allows items from Farmer's Delight and The Aether to be combined a some foodstuffs)
2. Deep Aether (expands the Aether)
3. Twilight Aether (links the Aether with the Twilight Forest mod)
4. Aether Villages (adds villages to The Aether)
Twilight Forest brings a whole other Dimension with addons
1. Twilight Forest - Dungeons & Villages (Adds villages and new dungeons to the Twilight Forest)
2. Twilight's Flavors & Delight (Adds foodstuffs and allows items from the Twilight Forest and Farmer's delight to be combined)
3. Twilight Construct (adds features from the Twilight Forest to Tinker's Construct)
Thermal Dynamics allows for industrialization with addons
1. Thermal Expansion
2. Thermal Foundation
3. Thermal Innovation
4. Thermal Cultivation
5. Thermal Integration
YUNG's Better Structures revamps each structure with these individual mods which follow:
1. Better Desert Temples
2. Better Dungeons
3. Better End Island
4. Better Jungle Temples
5. Better Mineshafts
6. Better Nether Fortresses
7. Better Ocean Monuments
8. Better Strongholds
9. Better Witch Huts
For the Players, I added a few things to help make everything easier plus a little bit more fun to work with
HT's TreeChop (making wood collection easier and allows for everything to be collected)
Inventory Pets (helps out in a pinch just in case you happen to be low on health or resources)
Just Enough Items (makes crafting a breeze especially when everything seems foreign to you)
Essential (allows you to invite your friends directly rather than having to create and pay for a server)
Immersive UI (mostly just aesthetic and I thought it looked cool)
Waystones (makes traveling a breeze so you don't have to run and waste all your resources on a minecart track)
Then for a little extra fun I have added:
Lucky Blocks which give random results when broken
Lego Bricks for fun builds and help with mob grinders
Mr. Crayfish's Furniture just to help add a little spice to your house/builds
SecurityCraft to keep those pesky mobs and players at bay for when they're being a menace
Deeper and Darker to expand your exploration to the max
Flight potions to help in flight for those high-up builds
and a few more
Let me know in the comments how I did and if there's anything else I should add!
