About
Integrated Discoveries II is a kitchen sink style modpack with a variety of mods geared towards all sorts of playstyles. From the automation and mechanical Create, to tool mods like Tetra and Tinker's Construct, to exploration through dimensions and dungeons, all the way to grindy mods like Gobber, you, the player, can pursue whatever playstyle you want, and hopefully make a couple new discoveries along the way!
Unlike other modpacks, this one is a bit on the lighter end, with only around 120 mods in total, and from those, only a handful of major content mods. This pack favors exploration, and is definitely not something meant to be experienced in one or two sittings. Its original purpose was as a modpack to be played with friends, though it is fully capable of being a standalone singleplayer experience.
I hope you find this blend of mods interesting and worth your time!
Content
As in line with the in game questing interface, this mod is split into 8 main categories:
- Adventure -- Challenging bosses and sprawling dungeons await you, adventurer.
- Tools -- Pick one, or all, from three main paths to take your tool and weapon forging!
- Storage -- Always a problem, this pack offers two storage solutions.
- Dimensions -- Hop through revamped vanilla dimensions, as well as the Twilight Forest, Everbright and Everdawn, and even space!
- Magic -- Program your own spells, or make blood sacrifices to the gods. Either works.
- Create -- Mess around with trains and complex contraptions in Create v0.5!
- Food -- Enjoy the different delicacies and meals added from Farmer's Delight and its many addons.
- Utility -- A small collection of minor features, all aimed to make your modded experience less tedious!
Questing
Yep, that's right! There's a quest book, as well as teams in this modpack. Of course, as a kitchen sink type of modpack, these quests have minimal impact on your modded journey and mainly serve as guides and suggestions. Of course, they reward minor prizes and a certain item that can be used in the market tab, though the item in question can still be crafted, and market itself only exists to alleviate the most tedious, grindy parts of the modpack.
In short, quests are just something to do on the side. They're pointers and suggestions, meant to alleviate the more grindy parts of the modpack. They're completely optional, and do not hinder progression!
Thank you for taking the time to check out this modpack! Oh, and we don't talk about Integrated Discoveries I. Ever.
