Played the game for a while and wonder what those cloudy things are? This is Carbon, generated by machines like furnaces or generators and there is also Sulfur and Dust. Carbon and Sulfur fly up while Dust falls to the ground.

The Workshop Table is an All-in-One Modular Station where you can put in your Crafting Tables, Furnaces and Chests. They also have Upgrade Slots for Extra Inventory on Crafting Tables or Speed Upgrades on Furnaces.

Try to get to Filters soon. There are different Tiers and 3 Materials you need to Filter the specified Pollution. Sulfur --Wool--> Sulfur Powder, Carbon --Leaves--> Coal Powder, Dust --Paper--> Clay, Be aware: Pollution can get through wrong filters!

There are mainly 3 different automatable Storage Systems. While "Applied Energistics 2" is the most common but resource intensive, "Simple Storage Network" is easy to setup and very cheap. "Refined Storage" is like AE2 but cheaper.
