Description
iCraft Fabric
Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric · ~196 mods · Quest-driven Kitchen Sink
Punch a tree. Build a windmill. Wire up a factory. Cast a fireball. Load a cannon. Launch a rocket. iCraft Fabric takes you from your first crafting table to orbit — and gives you a quest book that actually tells you how to get there.
iCraft Fabric is a large, progression-focused kitchen-sink pack built on Fabric for performance. It blends Create contraptions, Modern Industrialization factories, Applied Energistics 2 digital storage, Ad Astra space travel, Spell Engine magic and TaCZ firearms on top of a completely overhauled overworld — all tied together by a hand-written FTB Quests book split into Early, Mid and Late Game.
Guided Progression — 14 Quest Chapters
The pack ships with a custom quest book (over 700 quests) organised into three difficulty groups. Progression is linear, so you always know what to do next, and quests hand out items, XP and Common / Rare / Epic loot crates as you go. The book does not drop on death.

Major Features
Three Full Tech Trees That Talk to Each Other
- Create (plus Crafts & Additions, Deco, Steam 'n' Rails, Escalated, Ultimate Factory and Contraption Terminals) covers the early- and mid-game: rotational power, mechanical crafters, trains and moving contraptions. Create Crafts & Additions bridges kinetic power into electricity, so your windmills can feed your factory.
- Modern Industrialization is the pack's industrial spine, running from a Steam Age of bronze and boilers into a full Electric Age of assemblers, chemical reactors, oil refining and nuclear power. Real multiblocks, real recipe chains, real voltage tiers.
- Applied Energistics 2 handles storage and autocrafting endgame, extended with MEGA Cells, ExtendedAE, Wireless Terminals and Polymorphic Energistics. Modern Dynamics provides pipes and cabling between it all.
Almost Unified merges duplicate ores, ingots and plates across every mod, so you never end up with four kinds of copper clogging your ME system.
Civilization Actually Matters
Civillis changes the core survival loop: the more you build, the safer your land becomes. Beds, campfires, lighting and real structures raise a chunk's civilization score, which suppresses hostile spawns and can even make mobs flee from your town. A zone HUD and minimap overlay show you where the wilderness ends and your territory begins.
Neglect an area and it decays back to wilderness — settlements have to be lived in, not just built. Late game, you can raise a Podium of Undying, a shrine that revives you on death without consuming a totem.
A Rebuilt Overworld
Worldgen is overhauled from the ground up:
- Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Regions Unexplored and Geophilic add hundreds of new biomes and repaint the vanilla ones. Oh The Trees You'll Grow makes forests actually feel like forests.
- YUNG's full suite rebuilds caves, dungeons, mineshafts, strongholds, desert temples, jungle temples, witch huts, ocean monuments, nether fortresses and the End island — every vanilla structure is bigger, deadlier and worth raiding again.
- Towns and Towers, DnT Pillager Outpost Overhaul and Pillager Caravans fill the roads and hills; Aquamirae and Fragmentum add haunted seas and hidden ruins.
- Deeper and Darker extends the Deep Dark into the Otherside, a full dimension with Warden armour, sculk gear and the Soul Elytra.
- Lootr gives every player their own loot from chests, so multiplayer looting is never a race.
Seasons and Real Farming
Serene Seasons runs a 12-stage year at 8 days per sub-season. Grass, foliage, weather and snowfall all shift with it, and crops are fertile only in season — out of season they grow slowly rather than dying, so it's a planning challenge, not a punishment. Pair it with Farmer's Delight Refabricated for cooking pots, skillets, knives and a proper food tree, and Naturalist for a living ecosystem of new animals.
Magic, Guns and Cannons
- Spell Engine + Wizards + Elemental Wizards deliver a real action-RPG spell system: wands, staves, spell books, elemental paths (fire, frost and more), scaling Spell Power attributes and bindable hotbar casting.
- TaCZ: Refabricated with the Elite X Quality Guns pack adds modern firearms with a full gunsmith workbench, attachments and crafted ammo. Fallout Stuff tosses in stimpaks and wasteland flavour.
- Create Big Cannons lets you build and crew genuine artillery — autocannons, howitzers and naval guns, all powered by Create.
- Security by Kilhaden adds keypads, reinforced blocks, wiring and automated sentries to defend everything you've built.
Getting Around
Immersive Aircraft (biplanes, airships, gyrodynes, cargo drones) and Gliders open up the skies long before elytra. Waystones handle fast travel with a fair XP cost — roughly 1 level per 1000 blocks, 3 levels cross-dimension, and free from global waystones. Wormhole portals and Stargate cover the rest, and eventually Ad Astra rockets take you off-planet entirely: space suits, oxygen management, orbital stations and lunar bases.
Quality of Life, Everywhere
EMI (with JEI and Just Enough Resources) for recipes and ore info, Jade for block tooltips, Xaero's Minimap & World Map with Ping Wheel integration, Sophisticated Backpacks & Storage, Carry On, Construction Wand, FTB Ultimine (hold ~ to vein-mine), JustHammers, Clumps, Polymorph, Easy Anvils / Magic / Disenchanting, Inventory Essentials, Mouse Tweaks, Trash Slot, Bridging Mod, Step It Up, and Simple SetHome commands. FTB Teams and FTB Backups 2 keep multiplayer servers organised and safe.
It Looks and Runs Good
Built on Sodium, Lithium, C2ME, ModernFix, ImmediatelyFast and Entity Culling for a genuinely smooth framerate despite the mod count. Distant Horizons is preconfigured for enormous render distances, and Iris ships with Complementary Reimagined and Complementary Unbound plus Euphoria Patches already installed — just pick one and go.
Add Fusion and Continuity connected textures, Rechiseled and Macaw's Furniture for building, plus AmbientSounds, Sound Physics Remastered, Biome Music, Immersive Melodies and Subtle Effects for atmosphere, and a custom FancyMenu main menu to tie it together.
