I Was Here - Lost World

Cooperative post-apocalyptic survival with ruined cities, firearms, infected hordes, professions, progression and regional events.

I Was Here: Lost World

The cities are still standing. Most of the people are not.

I Was Here: Lost World is a modern, cooperative survival experience built around dangerous expeditions, useful professions and the stories your group brings home. Venture into abandoned cities and military sites, bring back supplies, and turn a fragile shelter into somewhere worth defending.

Choose what you bring to the group

Seventeen professions offer distinct starting equipment, specialties and permanent techniques. Be the medic who keeps the expedition alive, the engineer who powers the base, the cook who stretches its provisions, or the marksman watching the next street. Eighteen proficiencies develop through play, with configurable training and decay. Advanced craftsmanship creates Superior equipment that teammates can use.

Your knowledge matters, too. Identify equipment related to your profession, assess wildlife or hostile targets, examine a friend's injuries, and read distances with the right background or optic.

Go where the supplies are

Explore ruined cities, bunkers, roads and abandoned structures. Loot is organized around the places you search: medical supplies, provisions, workshop materials, tactical equipment, ammunition and rarer weapons. Populated ruins are riskier than open wilderness. Infected hordes, mutants and armed factions make preparation and an escape route worthwhile.

Regional events bring encounters and supply drops to loaded areas. A spectral butterfly signals that something has changed, without telling you what. Frequency and enabled events are configurable; server operators control shared settings.

Survive between expeditions

Manage thirst, nutrition, body-part injuries and temperature. Wildlife brings life to the landscape. Build with Create and Immersive Engineering, maintain modern equipment, and explore an increasingly alien Nether. TaCZ firearms, tactical gear, mobility equipment and vehicles support different approaches to a dangerous world.

Ready to play

The CurseForge installation includes the required mods, original integrations, class kits, loot and encounter data, climate and progression configuration, custom assets and a coordinated FPS control layout. JEI is included for recipes; Xbox-controller support is available through Controllable. Extra mod actions may still need controller bindings suited to your preferences.

Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge 47.4.10 · Java 17

Start with 8 GB allocated to Minecraft on a computer with at least 16 GB RAM. More demanding settings may need more; leave memory for your operating system. Shaders and distant terrain are optional performance costs and can be adjusted to your hardware.

Open the stacked-books button beside nutrition in your inventory for progression, stats and techniques. The class selector appears for new characters. Class and gameplay text is in English.

For multiplayer, everyone and the server need the same pack version. This download is the client modpack, not a ready-to-upload dedicated-server archive. Do not copy client-only graphics mods onto a server. Back up worlds before upgrades.
