This modpack aims to be a "bread and butter" pack. Where a "light" modpack will typically try to be minimally viable and a "kitchen sink" will include all major mods that are currently available, we intend to strike a balance between those. We
- focus on a select few coremods with relatively little functional overlap
- try to minimize the ugliness that comes with combining multiple worldgen mods (the "15 types of copper ore" effect)
- favour aesthetically pleasing mods like Immersive Engineering and Botania
- keep each individual mod's progression and recipes intact
- try to avoid massively overpowered mods
- want to make exploration a little bit more interesting and beautiful via mods like Recurrent Complex
