So basically, this modpack exists because I got tired of downloading horror modpacks that have like 300 different cave monsters, 50 stalkers, 20 skinwalkers, and enough entities to make your game run at 2 FPS.

Horror of the Caves Tree is inspired by the classic Cave Horror Project, but it doesn't try to take itself super seriously. Instead of throwing every horror mod on CurseForge into one pack and calling it "the scariest Minecraft experience ever," this pack keeps things simple and focuses on a handful of creatures that are actually fun to encounter.

You'll still run into stuff like Herobrine from From the Fog, creatures from From the Caves, the Goatman, The Knocker, and a few other things lurking around, but the goal isn't to have something chasing you every 10 seconds.

This is basically the horror modpack I wanted to play myself. Just enough creepy stuff to make you think twice before going into a cave at 2 AM, without turning your world into a nonstop circus of monsters.
