Welcome to the nightmare
Horror K is a mod pack for Minecraft 1.19.2 designed to transform standard survival mode into an intense psychological horror experience focused on constant paranoia and tactical gameplay.
In this world, darkness is not just the absence of light; it actively works against you. Survival is not just about dodging hordes of enemies; It's about maintaining your sanity, watching every step, listening carefully to your surroundings, and meticulously preparing your defenses before nightfall.
What to Expect
1. Entities and Stalkers
The world is no longer safe. You are hunted by advanced AI-powered entities that respond to your movements, sounds, and mental state:
The Fog Man: Prepare to have your movements frozen when you find yourself trapped in thick fog.
Cave Dweller (Reimagined): Underground caves are no longer silent. You will hear footsteps long before you detect the threat.
The Night Stalker and The Watcher: Silent stalkers that lurk among the trees will test your nerves. You will constantly wonder if you are alone or if someone is watching you.
2. Sanity and Dynamic Audio Mechanics
Sanity System: Spending too much time in complete darkness, traveling deep underground, or witnessing disturbing events will exhaust your mind. If you don't keep light sources around you, you're likely to experience auditory and visual hallucinations.
Immersive Acoustics: Real-time reverberation and echoes make sound both your best tool and your greatest threat. Dripping water, footsteps on leaves, or a distant rustling can easily give away your position.
3. Tactical Combat and Movement
A standard diamond sword won't be enough against what's hunting you:
Tactical Armory (TACZ): Includes a realistic selection of firearms with custom reload mechanics, attachments, and tactical damage values.
ParCool Movement: Fluid movement mechanics allow you to jump over obstacles, roll to avoid fall damage, slide, and quickly climb to escape dangerous situations.
4. Base Defense (SecurityCraft)
A basic wooden cabin won't withstand nighttime threats. Use SecurityCraft to properly fortify your hideout:
Surveillance cameras to monitor the outside from the inside.
Reinforced doors with keypads and card locks.
Turrets, scanners, and defensive traps to secure your perimeter.
5. Abandoned Structures
The terrain is generated with abandoned watchtowers, deserted camps, forgotten bunkers, and crumbling ruins. Exploring these areas provides valuable equipment, ammunition, and tactical resources, though the risk remains high.
Performance and Optimization
We know how frustrating latency spikes and FPS drops can be in critical situations. Horror K has been optimized for stability:
Embeddium and ImmediatelyFast: Improved block rendering and smoother frame rates.
FerriteCore: Drastically reduces RAM usage.
Entity Removal: Optimizes entity processing and AI logic to maintain a stable frame rate even under heavy loads.
