Hornet's Adventure is a combat-adventure, xp-based modpack, adding tons of new biomes, dungeons, and bosses!
By utilizing mods like Improvable Skills 3 and Waystones, players have a new way to use xp as a valuable currency to expand on the vanilla minecraft experience. Gaining xp is much more thrilling with the additions of YUNG's Better series and When Dungeons Arise, adding new mobs and spawners. Lastly, what fun is a combat-adventure without boss fights?! The Aether and Twilight Forest mods make it so that your endeavors are that much more challenging.
Utilizing 41 total mods, (including the API's needed for the main content), Hornet's Adventure aims to provide a less-dense modpack with just enough features to expand upon the vanilla minecraft experience. Whether you're with your friends, or taking on the world as a solo, Hornet's Adventure is a treacherous journey that tests your ability in combat... even through The End.

Biomes O' Plenty is an expansive biome mod for Minecraft that adds a slew of new, unique biomes to the Overworld, Nether, and End! To go along with the new biomes, it adds new plants, flowers, trees, building blocks, and much more!
Introducing Experience Flasks! Either purchase them from Villagers or craft yourself with a bit of effort. Each Experience Flask can store up to 1000 experience points and can be upgraded by combining two or more in a crafting grid. To store experience in the Flask, simply sneak and right-click to start filling it with your experience. To retrieve experience, drink from the Flask as you would a potion.
ChoiceTheorem’s Overhauled Village Adds new and improved villages and pillager outposts to Minecraft! CTOV adds 23 village variants and 14 pillager outpost variants, each of which is tailored to the terrain, theme, and biome of your Minecraft world.
Customizable Elytra allows Elytra to be dyed and have banners placed onto them, in the same way as leather armor and shields! Place elytra in the crafting table to design wings individually!
Elytra Spot Adds a quality of life feature that allows Elytra to be worn in its own spot!
Entity Culling Fabric/Forge uses async path-tracing to skip rendering Block/Entities that are not visible. Long story short, it's a quality of life mod that prevents non-visible blocks/items from being rendered, the same way entities behind you are.
Geophilic is a data pack/mod that improves vanilla Overworld biomes in a subtle and simple way! Inspiration comes from scrapped illustrations for what was supposed to be the Wild Update — this is essentially a collection of relatively light improvements to vanilla biomes without any new blocks, items, or even biomes.
Improvable Skills allows players to upgrade themselves using experience and the Book of Skills. Adds 20+ skills and 5+ abilities that can be upgraded using XP.
Just Enough Items (JEI) is a client-side item and recipe viewing mod for Minecraft! This is a very useful tool to use in order to see how things are crafted.

Xaero’s Minimap is a client-side display that shows surrounding players, mobs and items! You can also place your own waypoints that are visible both on the minimap and in the game world. The minimap can also display the surrounding blocks above ground and below ground (cave mode).
Xaero’s World Map adds a self-writing fullscreen map to your Minecraft client! Press “M” to view everything you have discovered in the world.
