Build a magical colony where bees, mana, and industry grow together.

Hives & Colonies is an early-alpha NeoForge modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1 focused on founding and expanding a magical settlement through MineColonies, Ars Nouveau, Productive Bees, Create, and supporting exploration and quality-of-life mods.

Instead of giving you every system at once, the pack uses quests, recipe changes, and progression gates to guide you from basic survival into colony building, Source magic, bee-based production, and early mechanical automation.

What to Expect

• Start with a guided foundation chapter focused on tools, planning, and placing your first Town Hall.
• Progress into Ars Nouveau through Source Gems, the Novice Spell Book, glyphs, and Source Jars.
• Build a bee-powered economy with Productive Bees and honey-based progression.
• Use Create as the industrial backbone of your growing colony.
• Unlock convenience and automation more gradually through adjusted recipes for backpacks, Waystones, Pipez upgrades, and magic-related blocks.
• Follow early FTB Quests designed to connect colony building, magic, bees, and machinery into one progression path.

Current State

This pack is currently in early alpha. Expect balance changes, expanded quests, recipe adjustments, and possible bugs as development continues.
