Supported Versions
- 1.20.1
- added the ability to place down custom pictures in the world (I suggest uploading your images to sites like Imgur for this to work properly)
- likewise, you can now make custom flags (sorry @axol211, someone beat you to it )
- added Patchouli: this mod adds more in-game guides for mods that may be difficult to understand how to use
- snow layers now fall when the block beneath it is broken. they also now accumulate around blocks like fences and grass when it's snowing
- added the ability to go prone at will
- added Construction Wands (these are build tools which will allow you to build structures far more quickly)
- added the ability to restrain and capture players at less than 6 HP
- username plates are now hidden
- added Create: Dreams & Desires
- added crafting recipes for all Steel Armor Blocks items [these recipes may change in the future!]
- some changes to the way player corpses work: > corpses despawn after a while regardless of whether they still have items in them (this is to limit server performance impact) > corpses can be destroyed by lava or void
- decreased the probability of fuzed cannon projectiles impacting as duds
- set the maximum amount of ore extractors per ore vein to 3
- monster spawners, budding amethyst, obsidian, and reinforced deepslate are all now movable by Create contraptions
- increased the maximum length of copper, electrum, and HV & redstone wires to 32, 64, and 128 blocks, respectively
- changed max colonist count to 500
- enabled colonists working in the rain (this is due to the weather mod adding locational rain as opposed to Minecraft's default global rain)
- enabled colony PvP mode
- trains now require fuel to operate (they will use either solid fuel [wood, coal, etc.] placed in chests or liquid fuel [diesel, kerosene, etc.] stored in fluid tanks)
- increased the size of the Nether to the build limit (you will no longer be able to build on the Nether ceiling. I would advise not going up there either as the installed performance mods WILL cause visual glitches when going above or below bedrock)
- set the starting season to mid-Spring
- nerfed the Mending enchantment: instead of simply repairing your gear with XP, Mending now resets the XP cost when repairing at an anvil. This means that getting end-game gear is no longer a one-and-done task, rather, you still need to get the materials needed to make repairs
- set the default temperature unit to Celsius (this can be changed back to eagle units in the mod config)
- reduced the chance of getting the nausea effect from drinking dirty water from 80% to 60% & from drinking slightly dirty water from 50% to 30%
- increased the horizontal radius at which wind chimes repel phantoms from 10m to 20m
- the End and Nether are no longer affected by True Darkness
- mixers with casings from Create: Encased no longer mix faster than regular mixers - I forgot to disable tornadoes in the last update and I watched as my shack on a test world got ground to dust. oops... I went ahead and disabled them. - a few changes to the thirst mechanic but the big one is that being dehydrated no longer affects health regen - disabled the occurrence of redundant ore generation - fired cannon projectiles will never squib (get stuck in the cannon barrel) - removed Outer End - disabled colony protection - disabled Minecolonies' holiday content - disabled teleporting between colonies - disabled building colonies in other dimensions - Butchery blocks and carcasses no longer give the slowness effect when being carried - removed Dimensional Doors :cri: !!! - An issue currently exists with Valkyrien Skies ships that causes them to have missing textures on one side. As far as I'm aware, this only happens on large ships and is purely an aesthetics issue. Going into your performance settings and disabling Block Face Culling will solve the issue (however, this may result in a performance impact on lower end systems)
