if you need a brief introduction to Hexxit, it was a small, light weight, adventuring and exploration focused modpack that was made about 10 years ago on 1.5.2

Hexxit Revived is a faithful remake of the original Hexxit experience offering you the nostalgia & simplicity of old MC and features & quality of modern MC at the same time! suitable for anyone who wants a modded adventure while maintaining the minecrafty feel OR just seeks to relive the Hexxit experience in the modern versions. akin to the original, the essence of the pack is to adventure, battle enemies and take over dungeons while still expanding on other aspects of the game (magic, caving, fishing, farming...) to keep up with the venturesome theme. with old minecraft elements such as old visuals & textures, old world generation & structures, old gameplay features also restored, this modpack captures the full Hexxit spirit! (not a fan of the "retro" aspect? all of these can be disabled with a few clicks. check below)

FEATURES
✓ full 1.5.2 mc experience, with pre-1.7 world generation, old textures and lightning, without the jankiness of old MC
✓ better exploration, which is the main focus of hexxit. dozens of new biomes which are all customized, hundreds of new structures, hundreds of new mobs to enrich wildlife, etc.
✓ all enemy mobs now have attributes from infernal mobs, increasing levels from L2 hostility, and enhanced ai behaviour from Special AI. the stronger you are the stronger they are!
✓ better caving underground, dozens of new ores, cave biomes, and cave features. althought the overworld terrain generation is 1.5.2's, modern caves are also present! diamonds and ancient debris are also 5x more common but there are new ores above them
✓ rpg leveling system that allows you upgrade your skills by spending your levels (press M to access the menu)
✓ 2 new dimensions: The Twilight Forest and Aerial Hell
✓ very performant n optimized, performance is very close to vanilla. you can run it with 2.5gb. also has built in shader support
✓ loyal to original hexxit as much as possible. almost all mods are covered and some are expanded upon with newer ones! tho don't
worry, theres no deviations from original hexxit - everything is kept in the spirit of hexxit as possible
✓ actively maintained - has 4 custom mods that bring back the old elements of hexxit! feel free to share your ideas and complaints

CAVEATS
❗ 3-5gb is fine
❗ please do not update the mods, you'll break the pack. you can add/remove/modify stuff for your gameplay but i can't help if something breaks
❗if you're doing a manual install, setting up a server, (you need to use the serverfile for both) or getting the pack from somewhere else (just. install with the curseforge app), don't forget to include the "thingpacks", "resourcepack", and "config" folders along with the mods folder. if you don't you'll be playing a sht version without any customization
❗if you're having tps issues (server lag: mobs moving slow, blocks dropping late, etc), disable Special AI mod
❗if you're going to use Essential/e4mc/etc to play with your friends remove the "Lan World Plug-n-Play" mod
