📢 HESCraft 1.11 — Discord Update and Other Bits

This update focuses on Discord integration, survival improvements, and structural changes to the modpack files.

✨ Main Menu Redesign

• The main menu screen has been redesigned to make starting your HESCraft session clearer and easier.

• Added Discord integration directly into the menu for quicker access to the community and updates.

🧊 Survival Expansion

Added Tough As Nails

This introduces additional survival mechanics:

• Thirst system

• Temperature system (heat and cold)

These mechanics were chosen after discussions within the Discord community to make survival more immersive and challenging.

📦 Modpack Structure Changes

• Extra files such as saves and example worlds are no longer included in the main modpack file.

• These files are still available:

  • In the Files section on CurseForge

  • In the Extras section of the Discord server

This keeps the main modpack smaller and easier to maintain.

⚙ Configuration Improvements

• Added a default options configuration file.

• This disables certain shader hotkeys that were interfering with firearm controls.
