The same concepts of the original Hermit's Garden, but now on 1.12.2. Any mods missing between versions have been brought forward, atleast in spirit. Eventually, everything will be tied together, so no one can specialize in just one magic mod. I want to encourage everyone to explore everything in the pack. And since they're all magical, I'll also do what i can to help folks explore everything from the comfort of their own home... Eventually...

So feel free to build that wizard tower on the coast and ignore the humdrum of common man who has to go out and dive into caves and study up on one of the many magic mods i added in:

Witchery: Resurrected - A classic magic mod, now in 1.12.2. Explore the world of witchcraft by brewing potions in your cauldron, binding a familiar, gathering a coven, and performing rituals.

Botania - Magic flowers are scattered about the world, calling you to pluck their petals and unlock their power.

Thaumcraft - For those who would rather study and explore instead of gardening.

Blood Magic - If exploring and plants aren't really your thing, why not use the life force of mobs?

And new to 1.12.2, a few extra mods to fill the gaps:

Wizardry - A mod that adds some fun wizard items and promises the ability to craft your own spells

Embers Rekindled - If Botania is for Elves, than this mod is for the Dwarves. Harvest some sparks from bedrock and shoot them from pylon to pylon to craft some truly fantastic tools.

Mahou Tsukai - Another magic mod, but this one focuses more on what the others don't...

Divine Favors - Instead of working alone, ally yourself with powerful spirits by building their shrines and impressing them, and maybe they'll grant you their powers...

Astral Sorcery - A bit more exploring required to get started, but now the stars are your source of power

Roots - All about nature here. A mod centered around druidic magics and wild stuff.

And of course there's a healthy addition of things to help decorate your hermitage, and keep you entertained long after you've done all you think you can... Tame some dragons, fight a cyclops, cage a gorgon, breed fairies, become a Deep One, do some surgery, brew some alcohol! Do more than i can even tell you about!

And all of this, somehow under 100 mods...
