Highly customized Create-Minecolonies-based modpack that encourages to exploring, decentralization and utilize trains for transportation 🚂
Welcome back to Hephaistos! 3.0 is the biggest rework the pack has had: the industry no longer comes to you.
What's new in Hephaistos 3.0
Metals have addresses. Copper comes from Veridium, lead from Asurine, nickel from Scorchia. No sifter shortcuts, no crafting workarounds.
Molten Vents drive everything. Blast a vent open, feed it lava, and it produces its orestone indefinitely. Asurine vents form only in oceans, Scorchia vents only in deserts and savannas.
Decentralized factories. The orestones no longer stack, so the crushing plant goes to the deposit. One mega-base becomes several outposts connected by trains, the framerate thanks you for it too.
The foundry is mandatory. Brass, lead and nickel only become ingots in the smeltery. Furnace routes are gone.
Lead and nickel feed the refinery. Their sheets are part of the steel mechanism, which every distillation controller needs.
Cheaper lava. Cobblestone to lava now runs on a normal blaze burner instead of a superheated one.
Rebalanced logistics. Pipez item pipes cost brass and yield fewer; fluid, energy and universal pipes are removed in favour of Create's own.
Cleaner UI and performance pass. Removed duplicate resource packs and a stale Create 0.5.1 pack that was breaking textures, plus tightened chunk loading.
Core Features
Create Mod – Conveyors, windmills and assembly lines remain the backbone of everything you build.
Expanded Railway System – Steam n' Rails trains carry ore from the coast, the desert and the deep, because now they actually have to.
MineColonies Integration – Full colony management tailored for industrial gameplay, with the grind trimmed where it hurt.
Resource Scarcity & Exploration – Every metal is tied to a location and a biome. Supply chains are the game.
Industrial Expansion – The Factory Must Grow brings oil, refining and steel; Tinkers' Construct handles the metallurgy; Farmers Delight and Let's Do keep the colony fed.
New World Generation – Terralith and Tectonic terrain with re-spaced structures, so the distance between you and the next deposit means something.
Quests and Achievements – A restructured quest book that walks you from your first pickaxe to the distillation tower.
Multiplayer Focus – Built for groups. Splitting up the outposts is the natural way to play it.
Custom Art, Sounds, and Immersive Atmosphere – Custom menu, shaders, Distant Horizons and a soundscape built for the world.
