What's new

Hearth & Crown 1.1.0

Now runs on NeoForge 21.1.265.

This is now the version for both people joining a server with this mod and singleplayer play.

🏰 Display & Music

  • Every menu and loading screen now shows Hearth & Crown branding and artwork instead of vanilla Minecraft or other mods' screens. That includes the first-launch welcome screen, the title screen logo and the panorama backgrounds.
  • The pack's own music now plays everywhere in the Overworld, including creative mode and underwater, where vanilla music used to take over. Three more tracks join the in-game rotation (The Old Tower Inn, The Bard's Tale and King's Feast). Biome-specific music like the Deep Dark, Nether, End and modded biomes is unchanged.

πŸ›  Mod Fixes (via Datapack)

  • Create Deco: Dyed placards can be crafted back to white again.
  • Asterism Arcanum: Astral Leggings can be crafted.
  • Raw Materials: The shared c:raw_materials tag loads again.
  • Seven Seas: The galleon and pirate-junk supply chests have loot again.
  • Valhelsia Structures: The spawner-dungeon dispenser has its Harming arrows again.

🧬 NeoOrigins Changes

Origins - Feline: No longer takes rain damage. Water still hurts. - Draconic: No longer takes rain damage. Water still hurts. - Voidwalker: No longer takes water or rain damage. Instead, Hollow Form makes you take 10% more damage from all sources. - Strider: Now spawns in the Nether. - Piglin: Now spawns in the Nether. - Enderian: No longer spawns on the outer End islands; spawns at normal world spawn. - Sword Immortal: Gains two debuffs: Ascetic Body (2 fewer hearts) and Unburdened Body (armor is 50% less effective).

Balancing - All Orbs (Origin, Class and Background) are disabled. Picks are permanent; server operators can still change them with the /neoorigins commands.

🐞 NeoOrigins Class & Background Fixes

Artificer - Quality Enchantments now gives its +10 enchanting power with Apothic Enchanting. - Anvil discount is now 50% off. - Out of Shape is now 50% extra exhaustion instead of 2Γ—, as its description says.

Disenchanter - Remove Curse now removes all curses, including Curses+, once Hidden Enchants has fully revealed the item.

Woodsman - Stannum Miner (XP for tin, which isn't in the pack) is now Copper Miner: XP for mining copper ore.

Sorcerer - Innate Spells now describes the Firebolt and Icicle casts.

Warlock - Retribution now applies Weakness to every attacker instead of a 25% chance.

Duskblade - Inherited Blade now has Sharpness II instead of Sharpness I. - Daytime Slowness is now 10% slower instead of Slowness I (about 15%).

Merchant - Restocking (refreshing nearby villagers' trades every 2 seconds) is removed. It let prices crash to the minimum. - Replaced by Haggler: villager trades cost Merchants 20% less. It stacks with Lucky Trader's 10% for about 28% off.

βš” Reskillable Fixes

  • Fixed several skill requirements that were either missing or impossible to unlock.
  • Fixed overly broad skill locks that gated more than intended. Ores, ingots, nuggets, metal blocks and building blocks for Thallasium, Terminite, Aeternium, Cincinnasite, Nether Ruby and other modded metals are no longer locked; only their gear is.
  • The Building skill now gives its perk bonus.
  • The Leadership skill now applies its perk bonus.
  • The Smithing perk now gives up to 5% armor toughness at max level, up from 3%

βš™ Reskillable Reworks

  • Fewer side skills for Create: Create needs less from other skills to craft its components, such as Magic for Create Enchantment Industry.
  • Team crafting: multi-step Create builds, such as the Blaze Burner, Infuser, Brass Bookshelf and Blaze Enchanter, are split into steps that different players can each complete. A team can reach the goal instead of one person needing every skill.
  • Smithing now covers Create's metal supply chain:
  • Pressing sheets needs Smithing 12.
  • Crushing ore needs Smithing 16.
  • Making brass needs Smithing 20.
  • Tinkering covers turning those materials into machines.
  • Owner-based machine gates:
  • Create's machines: the Mechanical Crafter, Press, Mixer, Millstone and Crushing Wheels only make what the player who placed them could craft.
  • Minecraft's own blocks: the same applies to the vanilla Crafter, and smithing table upgrades follow craft locks too.
  • Copied machines: machines printed from a schematic or blueprint start with no owner until a player places them by hand.

πŸ’Ž Apotheosis Balance

  • Apothic Nerf set to 1.0: It no longer halves values, so the 15 bonuses it was breaking (Feathery, Agile, Ironforged and the rest) can appear on loot again.
  • All Apotheosis values at 65%: Apotheosis Balance now scales every gear bonus and gem bonus to 0.65Γ—. It applies this while the game runs instead of editing the data, so values can't break the same way again.
  • Fewer bonuses per item: Each bonus slot on a dropped item now has an 85% chance to roll, so loot averages fewer bonuses.
  • No Mythic from random loot: Mythic items no longer drop from chests or mobs. They're saved for bosses and the Reforging Table as an end-game goal.
  • Boss loot is always cursed: Apotheosis's "Curse Boss Items" option is on, so boss gear always carries one downside.
