Hearth and Hollow

A cozy-adjacent kitchen-sink modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge): world, QoL, tech and building mods, tuned to run well. No magic.

Explore pretty biomes with friends, build a home worth coming back to, and duck into the mining dimension when you need ore. There's enough tech and automation to make a base hum, a guided quest book, and room for the people who just want to decorate. It's built to run on an average laptop (including a MacBook) or a Steam Deck, with shaders, under 6 GB of RAM.

A quest book written for this pack

18 chapters and over 400 quests, from your first night to the endgame. Every chapter is open from day one and nothing in the pack is locked behind a quest, so follow it or wander off. Rewards come in crates, from humble Kindling to grand Ember. A repeatable Bounty Board keeps your farms and factories busy, and the capstone is the Allthemodium Alloy Paxel: one finished piece from every tech line, forged into a single tool.

• Shaders: Complementary Reimagined and Unbound, BSL and MakeUp Ultra Fast, included and off by default

• At least 4 GB of RAM allocated, 6 GB recommended (8 GB with a heavy shader)

A ready-to-run server pack is attached to every release under Additional Files. The server guide covers setup, settings, backups and pregenerating the world.

Hearth & Hollow is an independent pack. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or made by the All The Mods team or the Cozy Zen author. It was inspired by playing All the Mods 10, All the Mods 10 Lite and Cozy Zen. No quests, scripts, configs or other assets from those packs are included.

The pack's own files are MIT licensed and live on GitHub. Every mod belongs to its authors.
