Introduction

Welcome to the hardcore and demanding survival world of HardRock TerraFirmaCraft 4.
Survival will require you to acquire the ability to obtain resources and materials, plan your life in unfavorable weather conditions of wild fauna and flora ensuring technological development. You build and explore the world on different biomes, most of the work is done manually, improving your skills in farming, butchering, exploration, shipbuilding and sailing, blacksmithing, metallurgy, machine construction - etc.
Make medical supplements needed for survival. Improved skills allow you to better use materials and obtain resources. Take care of your health and eat a varied diet to develop your body and your immunity.

Survival - Cook food to avoid poisoning and purify water. Defend against hostile creatures, including predatory or poisonous animals on the surface and hordes of undead underground.
Weather - Temperature affects your body. Take shelter in summer or warm yourself by the fire in winter. Use appropriate clothing (e.g., silk cloth for cooling or wool cloth for warmth). Watch out for tornadoes, build a shelter, and create a cellar to store winter supplies. Stock up before it’s too late!
Exploration - Search for materials and discover new metal deposits across biomes like forests, deserts, tundras, and mountains. Additional deposits are found in other dimensions.
Progress System - Acquire new materials, learn to craft tools, and use them to multiply resources. Progress through technological eras: Stone Age, Bronze Age, Kinetic Age, and the NASA system for space exploration.
Adventure - Discover structures such as shipwrecks with treasure maps. Find buried treasures using these maps. Defend yourself from illagers, trade with villagers, and explore ancient ruins or abandoned mines underground. Visit new dimensions like the Nether, End, Moon, Mars, and Venus, each offering unique materials and metals.
Medicine - Use plants found in the wild to craft healing recipes.
Vegetation - Crops grow from spring to late summer, allowing for one harvest per year. Build greenhouses and prepare for winter to ensure year-round access to food. Plants must be fertilized and nurtured properly to thrive.
Foods - Animal and plant foods have expiration dates, meaning all foods eventually spoil. Extend shelf life by salting, smoking, pickling, or building a food cellar.
Animal Husbandry - Domesticate and breed livestock like dairy animals, wooly animals, oviparous animals, and pack animals. Reproduction requires pairing male and female animals. Develop butcher skills to improve how you harvest animal products.
Technology - Progress step-by-step, starting with the Stone Age and advancing through the Kinetic Age. Develop machines using mods such as Immersive Engineering to harness mechanical power, electricity, and polygonal machines. Later, unlock efficient technologies like Mekanism for atomic energy, leading to the NASA system for space exploration.
Limited carrying capacity drives innovation in transport. Use “pack animals,” backpacks, ships, or rail systems. Eventually, build flying machines to revolutionize transportation.
