I conjured up a bunch of mods that go really well together to make Minecraft slightly more hard and make it so you aren't as safe even during the day. Zombies will respond to your sounds, and if you bleed in front of them (take damage) they will attract to you like moths to a lamp. I added a focus on building and also connivence with elevators and waystones. There are also rougelike dungeons that spawn in this modpack, to add to the chaos and possibly help hasten up your progress if you are able to handle them. I highly recommend playing on hard difficulty, and maybe hardcore if you are feeling a bit extreme. While this isn't the hardest mob pack, I think you will find it to be very engaging, even alone.
