Motivation

I got tired of having to choose between Fabric modpacks with lackluster* tech mods or Forge modpacks with 12000 mods that send your framerate straight to Davy Jones' Locker. This is the product: a deliberately lightweight forge pack centered largely around tech mods, but with a few notable exceptions for mods like astral sorcery that are simply cool enough to warrant inclusion.

* - no offense fabric tech mod devs! I just don't particularly enjoy any of the tech mods currently available on fabric.

Multiplayer?

This modpack was designed with multiplayer in mind, and should work on servers out of the box.

Disclaimer

This is my first modpack, so it's not going to be a super high production experience with a questbook or custom recipes. It's just a collection of mods and whatever tweaks I needed to squeeze some frames out of them.

I also highly recommend the use of Optifine to improve performance, as this isn't fabric and the joys of phosphor and sodium are unfortunately not available to us here in this dark place.
