Greg Quest

A GregTech CEu modpack for Forge 1.20.1 where every mod is pulled into one unified, GregTech-powered progression.

Greg Quest starts from GregTech CEu Modern and builds outward.

Instead of dozens of mods running their own separate tech trees side by side, almost everything in this pack has been rewired to run through GregTech-crafting, cooking, farming, jewelry, even boss-drop armor.

If it can be built, there's a good chance it's now built on a GT machine… or Greg has decided you aren't ready yet.

What's Different?

Complete Tool & Armor Progression

Every tool and armor set above the vanilla wood and stone tiers—including equipment from other mods—has had its default crafting recipes removed.

Your progression now revolves around:

• GregTech's equipment progression
• Tinkers' Construct
• Brand-new custom Tinkers materials made from pack-exclusive resources

Expect an early game that feels completely different from a traditional modpack.

A Complete Food & Survival Overhaul

Food isn't crafted by hand anymore.

Pam's HarvestCraft 2 and GTMFO have been rebuilt into a full GregTech production chain featuring:

• Bakeries
• Cuisine Assemblers
• Multicookers
• Nearly 200 custom fluids

Combined with Legendary Survival Overhaul, you'll also need to survive:

• Hot and cold climates
• Heating and cooling equipment
• Climate-appropriate armor
• Environmental hazards that actually matter

Every Dimension Must Be Built

Forget flint and steel.

Vanilla portal creation has been disabled.

Every portal-including:

• Nether
• End
• Twilight Forest
• Aether

must be constructed using GregTech Portal Frames and Controllers, requiring progressively more advanced plates, gears, circuits, and alloys.

Dimensions unlock in sequence, turning exploration into real technological milestones instead of quick detours.

Two Custom Solar Systems

Once you leave Earth, the adventure is only beginning.

Gregicality Rocketry has been expanded with two entirely new solar systems.

Oblitus

A completely custom 15-planet star system featuring:

• Unique terrain
• New biomes
• Custom ore veins
• Distinct sky colors
• Original exploration progression

Vicinia

A second solar system connecting dimensions from other mods as real rocket destinations, including:

• Tropical islands
• Floating sky realms
• Deep oceans
• And many more…

True Cross-Mod Integration

This isn't just a collection of mods.

Content from across the pack has been rebuilt around GregTech progression, including:
