Description

A pack based on Gregtech Community Edition, but greatly expanding upon it with complex environmental additions and massively increased survival difficulty.

At its core, Gregged in Abyss is built around:

  • Gregtech Community Edition Unofficial: an expansive tech mod built around progressive voltage tiers.
  • Ecospherical Expansion's Lithospheric World Type: The overworld is one massive cave!
  • TaCZ: Building and using guns to protect yourself from hostile wildlife.
  • THIRTEEN different layers in a colossal cave system, stacked seamlessly with Immersive Portals.
  • More hostile mobs than I can count.

You are thrust into the Aphotic Zone: A colossal, endless cavern dense with both natural resources and hostile life. Using only your brain and some rocks you found lying around, you must progress through the Gregtech mod to build out a shelter and unlock increasingly powerful tools. You must find a way to turn the Aphotic Zone's deadly caves into a home, and eventually a nucleus for advanced industry.

With each new Voltage Tier, you unlock better technologies. You also unlock WORLDBREAKERS; powerful pickaxes that can break through into adjacent layers. As you grow increasingly powerful, you get to unlock new, deeper layers of the world. Progress far enough, and you might even be able to dig your way to the surface.
