Greenfall Survival

Civilisation has fallen. Nature has reclaimed the cities, the dead roam the ruins, and every shelter is only as strong as the blocks holding it together.

Greenfall Survival is a realistic Minecraft survival-horror modpack inspired by games such as 7 Days to Die. Begin with almost nothing, scavenge abandoned buildings, manage thirst and temperature, survive increasingly dangerous zombie hordes, and eventually rebuild society with firearms, machinery and steam-powered technology.

• Realistic structural physics — buildings require support, damaged structures can collapse, and unsupported blocks obey gravity.
• Reinforced construction — crafted building materials, stone, clay, iron bars and similar blocks receive increased structural strength so generated cities remain explorable.
• Falling trees — trees fall naturally when chopped instead of floating mysteriously in the air.
• Flowing water physics — water spreads and fills low areas, changing how floods, bases and underground spaces behave.
• Thirst and survival needs — locate drinkable water and manage hydration alongside hunger, health and temperature.
• Ruined cities — explore abandoned urban environments filled with resources, danger and potential shelters.
• Zombie hordes and infection — the undead react to sound, light and blood, while scheduled hordes make long-term survival increasingly difficult.
• Advanced injuries — individual body parts can be injured and require proper medical treatment.
• Scarce firearms — find, repair and use modern weapons without turning survival into an effortless shooting gallery.
• Primitive progression — collect loose materials, craft basic tools and work your way up from stone-age survival.
• Industrial rebuilding — develop mechanical systems, engineering equipment and steam-powered technology.
• Atmospheric visuals — realistic textures, quality shaders, volumetric lighting, weather and immersive environmental audio.

• Shaders are included but can be disabled for improved performance
• Multiplayer requires every player to use the same Greenfall Survival version as the server

Development Status

Greenfall Survival is actively being balanced and expanded. Existing worlds should be backed up before installing major updates, particularly updates involving structural physics or world generation.
